Just imagine if you could buy a warming,
quality gift this Christmas whilst donating to charity at the very same time!
Well thanks to Cocoon Child’s collaboration with Fallen Broken Street you actually
can!
As soon as I saw these hats I just knew I wanted to write a post about them
and share with you how brilliant I think they are, because I really do think
they’re a great idea. The hats vary in price, but £5 (plus VAT) of every hat sold goes to the fantastic charity Children With Cancer UK.
These cute bobble hats and beanies are all being sold by Cocoon Child over on their website here – a
family-owned company of three sisters who live in England and Australia. The
inspiration behind choosing to support a children’s cancer charity was after
the youngest of the sisters, Olivia was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
I’ve been informed that she’s coping very well so far and she sounds like an incredibly strong, brave person,
but we all know how awful the disease can be and the thought of children having
to go through similar treatments was what inspired the business to choose this
as their first charity. The money that's raised will go directly towards funding research projects, raising awareness and supporting families affected. This is just the first product that the company is helping raise money for charity with, Cocoon Child plan to release seasonal exclusive products that help raise money for children's charities.
These lovely hats come in a variety of different
colours and designs - both children’s and adults hats, might I add! You could even be super cute and match with your child! Cocoon Child have worked with Fallen Broken Street to
bring these products over to the UK for the very first time, so if you live in
the UK like me then this is the time and place to get your hands on one, though if you don't live int the UK then that's fine too because the company also ship worldwide.
These
little hats are really fantastic - they look great and the team behind them are just
as great! Whether it’s as a stocking filler, a secret
Santa present or any other type of gift, these are just so lovely and would make the perfect Christmas gift. Keep yourself and
your little one’s heads nice and toasty this winter, after all it feels like it’s
going to be a cold one!
I really hope my love and passion for this product
has come across in my post and that you’ll consider them as potential gifts
this Christmas. I really urge you to take a look at their website and give them a look. Personally I
can’t think of anything better than buying an awesome Christmas gift for a friend or relative whilst knowing some of the money
you've paid will be going straight to a brilliant charity at the very same time.
Let me know in the
comments which one is your favourite!
I love the red one!
Finally, I’d like to send my best wishes to
Olivia and to the business as a whole – you’re very inspiring, thank you for
sharing your story and for doing this fantastic thing for charity!
